DETERMINATION OF BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY

Biological Diversity is the combination of genes, species and ecosystems in a region.  Each day we see the devastating loss of biological diversity throughout our world.  These losses are radically affecting our environment, animal and human life.  Humans are experiencing difficulty trying to balance usage and protection of our earth's resources.

CINAR has been playing its role in protecting Turkey's biological diversity and finding the balance between using lands and protecting them through its participation in two major projects.  CINAR has researched and written the Köyceğiz-Dalyan Specially Protected Area Biological Diversity Determination and is currently researching and writing the Pamukkale Specially Protected Area Biological Diversity Determination.  These reports will be important tools in protecting our precious lands and resources.
