RISK ASSESSMENT AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS
Turkey is located on a peninsula and there are nearly 1,000 coastal facilities including harbors, naval docks, wharfs and marinas among other structures. CINAR Engineering holds a "Competency Certificate" for preparing Emergency Response Plans in case of oil and the other harmful substance spills in coastal facilities.
The following items are conducted by CINAR in scope of the government's regulations on emergency response plans:
- Geological and Geotechnical Surveys
- Hydrogoelogical and Hydrological Surveys
- Meteorological Surveys
- Bathymetric and Oceanographic Surveys
- Risk Assessments
- Marine time traffic simulation
- Oil pollution diffusion modeling
- Preparation and Submission of Emergency Response Plans to the government and the completion of any revisions requested by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry
- CINAR Environmental Measurement and Analysis Laboratory conducts all necessary sampling, measurements and analysis
20 expert technical staff work on the preparation of Risk Assessment and Emergency Response Plans.
