ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
One of the most experienced departments of CINAR is the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Department. The EIA Department conducts Environmental Impact Assessment Studies, including monitoring during construction and operational phases, creates Environmental Management Plans, Atmospheric Dispersion Models for air pollutants, noise modeling and prepares Acoustics Reports.
CINAR has the Competency License issued by the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forestry authorizing qualified companies to prepare EIA Reports for clients.
Since its creation, CINAR has prepared nearly 400 EIA Reports for such sectors as the energy, transportation, food, metal and waste sectors. CINAR is especially experienced in the energy sector and has conducted EIA studies of nearly 15.000 MW energy production and 3000 km of energy transmission.
The EIA studies are conducted with a diverse team of engineers under the supervision of a project coordinator who has a minimum of 10 years of EIA experience. These studies are also supported by our laboratory and Geographical Information Systems Department.
CINAR not only conducts EIA studies but also provides consulting services such as site surveys and site selection. Moreover the client is informed about other alternatives and other opportunities pertaining to the project site. Social impact analyses studies are also conducted in order to understand the views of the local public and to assess their demands.
